How Do I Find My Design Style? 🤔

Tips & Tricks

These bedrooms are very different, but can you explain why and what the design style they fall into might be? By the end of this newsletter you should be able to!

Good morning! Happy Canada Day to my Canadian subscribers and an early Happy Independence Day to my Americans! 🇨🇦 đź‡şđź‡¸

Stay away from this stuff if possible…If you don’t, I will be judging.

A friendly reminder that as a hater of tacky decor, stay away from any permanent flag or national-themed decor. Napkins, paper plates, cups, and tablecloths- OK, sure, love that for you. You go ahead and eat your Nanaimo bar, poutine, or whatever it is we eat at a Canada Day BBQ off that red & white paper plate (Or if you're American, your ribs and apple pie off your red, white, & blue paper plate). Then, promptly throw all your disposable patriotic-themed garbage away. You guys know I'm just kidding, though. Of course, you do what you want, but I'd avoid tacky lawn decor or themed throw pillows and blankets.

Now, let's move on to more exciting things, like finding your interior design style! My course, Boring to Beautiful, has some additional resources on this topic, and newsletter subscribers can take $100 off their order with the discount code INTERIORSCOOP.

How Do I Find My Interior Design Style?

How do you know which one is for you?

Today, I thought it would be good to learn how to find your design style. As I've mentioned, I try to showcase diverse design styles on my channel and in these newsletters, but it doesn't always mean they're my style. (If you're curious about my design style, I recently created a newsletter on this topic, which is linked here).
