Decor from abroad, IKEA, & more!

What’s Making My Home Feel Like Me

In the last couple of videos, I’ve mentioned including sentimental items to make your home feel more personal and curated. Adding pieces with a story will help your home feel more intentional, while also helping to keep memories and stories alive. It can be a set of plates passed down from your grandma that you choose to mount on a wall, or a hand-embroidered pillowcase you picked up at a market in Mexico City. These types of pieces have deeper meaning than the cute glass pumpkin you picked at HomeGoods to be your ā€œfall decor.ā€

Of course, not every piece in your home has to have a story attached to it, especially while you build your personal style. So today, I wanted to share some of my decor that is making a positive impact on my mood at home.
